Gateway International Bible Institute currently offers the following degrees:

• Bachelor Degree in Theology
• Bachelor Degree in Pastoral Leadership
• Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies
• Master Degree in Theology

• Doctoral Degree in Theology



GIBI is fully accredited by the Transworld Accrediting Commission International.


Degree requirements are as follows:​


Ministerial Associates Degree
These two year courses are designed for those who are seeking to enter the ministry on a full-time basis. Students seeking these degrees must take the required subjects totaling 64 credit hours, of which 18 can be electives.

Bachelor Degree of Theology
Students seeking this degree must take the required subjects totaling 128 credit hours. In addition to the core required courses students need the following:



THEO: 20 CREDITS | BIB: 12 CREDITS | GED: 5 CREDITS
WOR: 4 CREDITS | GHS: 5 CREDITS | HIS: 9 CREDITS | SCRI: 9 CRDITS

 

Bachelor Degree of Pastoral Leadership

Students seeking this degree must take the required subjects totaling 128 credit hours. In addition to the core required courses students need the following:



PAS: 27 CREDITS | BIB: 14 CREDITS | SCRI: 6 CREDITS
GHS: 9 CREDITS | WOR: 6 CREDITS | THEO: 5 CREDITS

PSY: 3 CREDITS



Bachelor Degree of Biblical Studies

Students seeking this degree must take the required subjects totaling 128 credit hours. In addition to the Core required courses students need 60 credits from the Scripture (SCRI) courses.

Masters Degree of Theology
After having graduated with a Bachelor Degree, students will need an additional 36 credits to meet the requirements of the Masters degree. The additional courses required for the masters degree may be selected from any courses not previously taken. In addition a thesis consisting of 50,000 words or 150 double-spaced typewritten pages. Content for each theme paper and/or thesis must be approved by the Administration before beginning. Thesis deadlines for graduating students are as follows: Preliminary thesis due by May 1st, allow 2 weeks for review and/or correction by faculty and final paper due on May 31st. For complete details of the thesis requirements you may request a copy of the GIBI publication, "How to Write a Thesis" and each student must purchase a copy of the book “Writing Your Dissertation in Fifteen Minutes a Day” by Joan Bolker, ED.D. The thesis review fee is $50.00 and payable at the time the thesis is submitted to the institute.

 

Doctoral Degree of Theology
After completing a Masters Degree program , students will need an additional 30 credits of course work in addition to the 6 credits for Capstone/Research Project and dissertation to meet the requirements of the Doctoral degree. The additional courses required for the doctoral degree may be selected from any courses not previously taken. In addition a thesis will be required. Content for each thesis must be approved by the Administration before beginning. â€‹
