Procedures

Gateway International Bible Institute offers several degrees, all tailored to meet the educational and spiritual needs of our students.  The process for registration through graduation are as follows:

Entrance and Registration

Determine what GIBI program will meet your educational goals. If you are a non-degree seeking student, you may audit courses online. If you reside in the Phoenix area, you are invited to attend our classes that are held on the campus.

For degree seeking students:  

• Start by filling out the registration form.
• Fill out a practical ministry training form.
• Determine if you qualify for advanced standing. Students with prior practical experience or educational credit may qualify for advanced standing. Please refer to the GIBI Catalog for more information.
• GIBI's curriculum is designed to be as affordable as possible. The current tuition rate is $65.00 per credit hour. Other fees may also apply.  Please refer to the GIBI Catalog to determine final costs for the degree you wish to pursue.
• Once your application and other forms are processed, arrange an appointment with the Administrator of the college. If you are outside the Phoenix area, call the GIBI office to make alternate arrangements via phone. Our main number is 602-993-5353.

Taking online courses

Once registered online, you may immediately start taking courses. Simply:

• Click on Student Dashboard from the main menu
• Click on Take A New Course
• Select the course to take.
•  If you are only auditing a course and are not a full time student, you will be taken through a process to pay for your course. Currently, GIBI accepts Paypal as the online form of payment. If you wish to pay via other means, please contact the GIBI offices. Payments that have been processed online will appear on the Student Dashboard.
• Your course will now appear on the Student Dashboard, accessible via the main menu. Selecting your course will make all course material available for your use. Other specific requirements for each course will be noted as you select them. For instance, you may encounter some courses that have extra reading requirements. In most cases you will be provided a link to purchase extra material online.
• Print out and fill in the Student Lesson document supplied with each course. Once you have completely answered all questions or essays, mail your work to the GIBI offices at: 4445 W. Olive, Glendale AZ 85302. Please allow up to 3 weeks for processing.
• Once your course has been processed and graded, your grade will appear on the Student Dashboard.
